Filmmaker Suresh Sangaiah has passed away, Cinematographer R.V. Saran confirmed the news. Media say’s that Suresh Sangaiah died due to liver failure on Friday, November 15th, in Chennai.
Condolences are pouring in on social media with many recalling his recent hospitalization for liver related issues.
Writer and director Halitha expressed her sadness on Twitter, saying, “Shocked and saddened to hear about Suresh Sangaiah’s passing”.
“I have always held “Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu” as a precious film and now with a deeper significance”.
Others remembered his unique storytelling, especially in his last film, “Sathya Sothanai”, starring Premgi Amaren. Suresh Sangaiah had also worked as an assistant to director Manikandan earlier in his career.
